Car Troubles…

So last night Bebo and I decided to have a lil’ adventure. We filled my hatchback with all the pillows and blankets we could find, loaded in our laptop and movie selection, rolled down the windows (due to such nice weather here), and got ready for our makeshift drive-in. We had no intentions of leaving the car until morning came.

Little did we know car troubles were at bay. Around 4 am this morning, Bebo woke shivering like a freight train. I hopped in the front and stuck the key in the ignition. Nothing. Nada. Not even a click. My question is, why? How did I have battery at 10 pm and by 4 am my car was completely dead? Any gear heads out there have an idea?

Tanks to the help of my moms boyfriend though, we are up and running again. For now….

I have gone throuh countless brands and ypes of makeip remover. I was spending on average 15 dollars a month for a package of makeup remover wipes. I found this pin on pinterest a while bak and thought i’d try it.I mean why the heck not? Spend 4 dollars (if that) and save for months to come, because all the supplies needed will last about 6 months to a year. I got my firt batch to last well into my ninth month. Well let me tell you, it works! I have no idea how people come up with stuff like this, but i’m thakful because I can save money and share these great ideas with you. Then you can save money, and we all know how important that is in todays economy. So, enough bibble babble and here’s the recipe….

Tired of spending on dryer sheets and softner?? I have found the answer toyour prayers–Aluminum! That’s right, you didn’t read that wrong. Take alminum foil in ball up into ball size of baseball. Toss that bad boy into the dryer with ur wet cothes and let it do its thing! The best part you ask? It doesnt have to be changed each use. You can reuse the same ball for up to six months! SIX MONTHS of savings is an awful good deal! Let me know (after trying) if you prefer the aluminum dryer ball or expensive dryer sheets….

Zit Zapper Trick: Asprin

This trick DOES work! I hve tried it and its been a huge help right before prom and other events.

Everyone has their own battle with acne. Some have to fight harder than others for clear skin. Those of you with problem pimples- LISTEN UP! I have found yet another great trick on pinterest. Like many of the other remedies I find, I have tried this one as well. It works wonders.

  1. take one un-coated asprin and 3 to 4 drops of water, mash together with finger
  2. Apply to problem area
  3. wait 2 to3 minutes
  4. wash off

coupon Coupons are as easy to get today as a carton of milk. You can find them on the internet, in the mail, printable coupons from websites, newspapers, store ads, etc. You get the picture.  Some people take it to the extreme, hence the show: Extreme Couponing.

I personally don’t go to extremes. I don’t need a stock pile in my spare room like i’m expecting the zombie apocolypse. I do, however, like to save money.

Many stores have their own individual policies. Kroger doubles all coupons up to a dollar on Tuesdays and Thurdays. (here in Ky, you maywant to check otherwise at your own location) Some people may not know that stores such as walmart with price match as long as you bring in your ad for the competing store.
